  2. thick head and neck, and short heavy bill. It
  3. is small and blue-grey or black, the males
  4. being reddish and the females brown on the
  5. breast. Bullfinches are 15 cm/6 in long, and
  6. usually seen in pairs. They feed on tree buds
  7. as well as seeds and berries, and are usually
  8. seen in woodland. They also live in the
  9. Aleutians and on the Alaska mainland.
